AI functions in Teamio – Information for candidates
How we handle your data when assessing your suitability for a position using AI
The employer you’re applying to uses Teamio for recruitment, which includes features powered by artificial intelligence (AI). These prepare a reference for the employer on how your profile matches the position. Here we explain what happens with your data.
What data is processed
- your CV — experience, skills, education, and languages,
- your answers from the questionnaire in the job posting, if you filled one out,
- the recruiter’s notes on your candidacy, if any exist.
Biometric data, voice, and video are not processed. We don’t carry out any personality analysis.
What the AI does with the data
It pulls the requirements for the position from the job ad and compares them with your data. From this it puts together an overview: an estimate of your matching level of experience, whether individual requirements are met, and questions the recruiter may ask you.
How the assessment works, step by step
1. Position analysis
The tool reads the text of the job ad and identifies the key requirements for the candidate. It assigns each one an importance based on the content of the job ad.
2. Analysis of your materials
It goes through your available data — CV, questionnaire answers, and the recruiter’s notes, if any exist — and compares them with the position’s requirements.
3. Evaluation of requirements
For each requirement, the tool shows whether you meet it, partially meet it, or don’t meet it. If information on a given requirement is missing from your materials, it’s marked as not assessable. Each assessment also comes with a short explanation of what it was based on.
What it’s assessed on
Only on how your experience, skills, and qualifications match the requirements of the position. Gender, age, origin, or other personal characteristics are not assessed.
A human decides, not a machine
The output is only a reference for the recruiter. It is not an automatic decision about whether you’re hired or not. A human always decides on your candidacy, reviewing and verifying the output.
Your rights
In connection with the processing of your data, you have the right to information, and the right to access, rectification, or erasure. You can also request restriction of processing or object to processing. You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing where it would have legal or similarly significant effects on you. In our recruitment process, however, decisions are always reviewed by a human.
More detailed information on data processing and how to exercise your rights can be found in the Personal Data Processing Policy.
